Shieldocto provides a digital verification portal to ensure customers receive authentic products. When registering a product warranty, you agree to the following conditions:
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide fully accurate, current, and truthful information, including your full name, valid email address, phone number, and store receipt/invoice metrics.
- Vehicle Binding: A unique product warranty is bound directly to one specific vehicle via its Chassis Number (VIN) and License Plate. Once submitted, the warranty is completely non-transferable to another vehicle.
- Batch Numbers: Warranties are only valid and activated if unlocked using an authentic, authorized Batch Number (BN) issued directly by Shieldocto or its authorized dealer network.
To preserve the premium quality and longevity of high-end products like Paint Protection Film (PPF) and Window Tinting, your warranty is strictly tied to a mandatory check-up schedule.
- Maintenance Interval: Each product batch has a specific maintenance interval (e.g., every 3 months, 6 months, etc.) defined dynamically in the system based on the product type.
- Automated Reminders: The system will send automated HTML email reminders to your registered email address prior to your maintenance deadline. It is your sole responsibility to ensure our emails are not blocked or sent to your spam folder.
- Action Required: Upon completing the physical check-up at an authorized facility, you must click the unique, secure confirmation link provided inside your reminder email.
- Automatic Warranty Voiding Rule: If a maintenance due date plus the designated grace period (7 days) passes and you have not verified your visit through the email link, the system will programmatically and automatically switch your status to “Voided”.
- Consequences of Voiding: Once a warranty is voided due to missed maintenance, Shieldocto is legally freed from any future product claims, replacements, or liabilities. Historical customer and vehicle data will be safely retained in our database for legal, reference, and marketing records.
- Location Verification: To maintain system integrity and prevent fraudulent renewals from home, the email confirmation link utilizes a browser-based GPS geolocation check.
- Google Maps Audit: This check audits whether you are physically present within the radius of an authorized merchant center (via Google Maps coordinates) at the exact time of confirmation.
- Fraud Policy: Attempting to bypass this check, utilizing GPS-spoofing software, or triggering multiple renewals outside of the physical center will automatically flag your record as “Flagged Outside Center” and may result in immediate and permanent termination of your warranty status.
- “As-Is” Basis: Shieldocto provides the website and digital warranty systems on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. While we strive for 100% uptime, we do not guarantee that the website, server automated emails, or location triggers will be completely error-free or uninterrupted.
