Nano-Ceramic Window Tint: Less Heat, More Privacy, No Signal Problems
A hot cabin makes every drive less comfortable and forces the air conditioning to work harder. Window tint helps by blocking part of the sun heat and light that passes through the glass. Nano-ceramic film does this without the drawbacks of older dyed and metallic films.
How nano-ceramic tint works
Microscopic ceramic particles are built into the film layers. They block infrared heat and ultraviolet rays but contain no metal, so the film does not interfere with mobile phones, satellite navigation or garage door signals.
The main benefits
- Blocks up to 99% of ultraviolet rays
- Blocks up to 96% of infrared heat
- Adds privacy for passengers and belongings
- Helps protect leather and the dashboard from fading and cracking
- Holds glass fragments together in minor impacts
Choosing the right shade
Tint darkness is measured as visible light transmission, or VLT. A lower VLT means a darker film and more privacy. Check the tint regulations in your country before you choose, because the legal limits differ from place to place.
Installation matters
A clean, dust-free installation gives a clear finish without bubbles or lifting edges. Your installer registers the job with a unique code, so you can verify your warranty online.
