What we collect when you register or verify a warranty, who can see it, and the choices you have.

ShielDocto is a brand of Forward Gates Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong (Company No. 80760543), which operates this website and the warranty registration system connected to it. For any questions about your data, contact us at contact@shieldocto.com.
02The data we collect
If you’re a customer (you had PPF / Window Tint / Front Shields installed)
- Full name, phone number, email address
- Vehicle information (make, model, license plate)
- Two photos of your vehicle and license plate taken at install time, used as proof of installation tied to your warranty
- Language preference (Arabic/English)
If you’re a dealer/partner
- Business name, contact name, phone number, email address
- City and address
- Your shop’s geographic location (latitude/longitude) — displayed publicly on the Partner Directory map if your account is approved and listed
- Your warranty and batch (purchase quota) records
General technical data
- IP address, for security purposes such as preventing form abuse
- Essential cookies required for the site to function (login session)
03How we use your data
- Registering your warranty and verifying it later
- Sending periodic checkup reminders and warranty status alerts, via email and via WhatsApp unless you’ve opted out
- Verifying your identity when you look up your warranty, via a one-time code sent to your registered email
- Displaying approved dealers on a public map to help visitors find the nearest partner
- Contacting you, as a dealer, regarding order requests and your quota status

05Third-party services we use
- OpenStreetMap, to display dealer locations, without sending it any personal data
- WhatsApp, via a connection bridge, to send warranty reminders, only if you haven’t opted out
- Email delivery service, to send verification codes and reminders
06How long we keep your data
We retain your data for the duration your warranty is active, plus an additional 3 years after it expires or is voided, for record-keeping purposes and to respond to any potential claim or dispute related to the warranty during that period. After that, your data is deleted from our active systems.
07Your rights
- You can opt out of WhatsApp or email alerts for your warranty at any time, through a request to the dealer or site administration
- You can request a copy of your data, request corrections, or request deletion, in accordance with applicable law, including Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law

08Data security
- Install-proof photos are automatically processed to strip hidden GPS location metadata before being saved
- Accessing your warranty through the site requires verifying your phone number with a temporary code, except for the public Certificate page a QR code links to, intentionally designed without personal data so you can show it to a third party such as a future car buyer
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any material change will be published on this page with an updated date at the top.
