Warranty Terms
These terms explain how a ShielDocto warranty works: what it covers, what is expected of you, and how to check your status. They apply together with our Terms of Service.
How your warranty is created
Your warranty is registered by the authorized dealer who installed your product. Each warranty has a unique code and includes proof photos of your vehicle and its plate taken at the time of installation.
What is covered
The warranty covers manufacturing and installation defects of the ShielDocto product installed on your vehicle. Coverage terms differ by product, such as paint protection film, window film or windshield protection film, and are shown on your warranty record when you verify it.
What is not covered
- Damage caused by misuse or accidents
- Damage caused by external factors listed on your warranty record
- Installations that were not registered with a genuine batch number issued by ShielDocto or its authorized dealers
Periodic check visits
Your warranty requires periodic check visits on scheduled dates. We send reminders by email, and by WhatsApp unless you have opted out. Confirming each visit keeps your warranty active.
If a check visit is not completed within the grace period, the warranty is cancelled automatically and you will stop receiving reminders for it.
Checking your warranty
You can check your warranty at any time on the verification page. Enter the phone number registered at installation and confirm the one-time code sent to the email on your warranty record.
Selling your vehicle
A warranty does not transfer automatically when a vehicle is sold. Warranty transfer is not available yet, so please contact us before you sell a protected vehicle.
